about
As almost 80% of the restaurant's ingredients come from the ocean, the main goal in designing the interior of Dancing Lobster was to support the specifics of the fishery through design elements.
The four areas of the restaurant, the lobby, the dining area, the VIP lounge and the kitchen, have been created with the aim of providing customers with a special experience that will keep them coming back to Dancing Lobster. The focal point of the main dining area is the set of sofas (and perforated panels) that separate the space, recalling the presence of a lobster on the sand in the depths of the ocean.

The sloping blue ceiling, 3 to 8 meters high, and the reflections of the tiled walls create the feeling of floating in the ocean. The Portuguese specificity is represented by the azulejo tiles on the floor and the traditional crockery that partially separates the open-space kitchen from the main dining area.
